PERFECT GAME ANNOUNCES MEDIA RIGHTS PARTNERSHIP WITH MINORITY PROSPECTS
PR Newswire
SANFORD, Fla., Nov. 2, 2026
SANFORD, Fla., Nov. 2, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Perfect Game, the world’s largest youth baseball and softball platform and scouting service, today announced a media rights partnership with Minority Prospects, the Atlanta-based organization that has become the largest platform in the world for minority baseball and softball prospects.
The partnership kicked off last month at the WWBA World Championship in Jupiter, Fla., Perfect Game’s premier fall event, where Minority Prospects produced content featuring some of the nation’s top amateur players in front of college coaches, professional scouts and MLB legends.
Under the agreement, Minority Prospects will broadcast select Perfect Game events across all of its social media platforms, including Minority Prospects TV, its YouTube channel and its InstaGram account as the two organizations will collaborate on content and cross-promotion. The partnership gives Perfect Game another avenue to reach players, families and fans, while giving Minority Prospects’ athletes and audiences greater access to the biggest stages in amateur baseball.
“Minority Prospects has built something special in a short amount of time, and the results speak for themselves,” said Perfect Game CEO Rob Ponger. “Their mission of creating opportunity and exposure for minority players lines up with what we believe in at Perfect Game. Launching this partnership in Jupiter, in front of the best players and evaluators in the country, was the right way to start, and we’re excited about what we can build together.”
Founded in 2020, Minority Prospects counts 147 MLB Draft picks among its alumni, and its players have earned over 2,000 college baseball and softball scholarships. Its free youth clinics have served more than 95,000 participants. The organization’s national event calendar includes the HBCU All-Star Games, the MBP All-American Game presented by Adidas, the MBP Collegiate League and the MBP Junior World Series.
“When I founded Minority Prospects in 2020, my vision was simple: to create a platform where every young athlete has the opportunity to be seen, evaluated and recognized, regardless of their background,” said Alexander Wyche, CEO and Founder of Minority Prospects. “Partnering with Perfect Game, the world’s leading amateur baseball and softball organization, is a major step forward in that mission. Together, we can expand opportunities, increase exposure and help ensure that talent, not access, determines a young athlete’s future.”
The Minority Prospects agreement is Perfect Game’s third creator-native media rights partnership of 2026, following deals with Youth Prospects in April and Doubted Athletes in June. Together, the partnerships reflect Perfect Game’s commitment to meeting players, families and fans where they are by teaming with platforms that have built loyal audiences around amateur baseball and softball.
