Building on its launch in North America, MEX brings AI-powered reporting and customer-driven enhancements to maintenance teams in manufacturing and other asset-intensive industries. Designed for flexibility, scalability, and simplicity, MEX CMMS helps organizations capture asset data, schedule preventive maintenance, manage inventory, and more in one intuitive platform.
“Launching MEX in North America was just the first step. We’re continuing to invest in AI and integration with key business and operational solutions to help maintenance teams work more efficiently,” said Mark Simner, CEO of TMA Systems. “Listening to our customers is at the core of how MEX evolves. Their feedback shapes enhancements that simplify day-to-day maintenance, connect workflows and turn maintenance data into useful insights.”
The latest enhancements put AI-powered reporting at the forefront. With AI Insights, users can create and refine maintenance reports using plain-language instructions, helping them turn maintenance data into useful reports and visualizations without building each report manually. Alongside improved mobile field functionality, these capabilities make it easier for users to capture information, coordinate work and keep teams aligned. To support connected maintenance operations, MEX includes APIs that allow customers to develop integrations with business and operational systems, including SAP, ServiceNow, VisionLink, Teletrac Navman, CAT, Workday and QuickBooks. As part of TMA Systems’ connected maintenance portfolio, MEX can also be paired with Virtual Facility for critical alarm response and ProCalX for calibration management, including workflows that use documenting process calibrators.
“The latest MEX enhancements are focused on removing friction from the day-to-day work of maintenance teams,” said Mike Hill, Chief Technology Officer at TMA Systems. “Whether it’s making asset information easier to access, helping technicians capture better data in the field, or using AI to simplify how teams turn maintenance data into actionable insights, we’re focused on practical innovation that helps people get more value from the system without adding complexity.”
Core updates in MEX include:
AI Insights
Users can now create and refine maintenance reports using plain-language instructions. By describing what they want to see and refining the results conversationally, maintenance teams can turn MEX data into useful reports and visualizations to support day-to-day decisions.
Asset Lifecycle
Condition assessments, expected asset life, replacement costs and maintenance spending help teams make informed repair-or-replace decisions and plan future capital investment.
Asset Geolocation
An interactive map within the Asset Register helps teams locate equipment and view maintenance information by location to better coordinate work across sites.
Accounting and ERP Integration
API connectivity supports integrations between MEX and accounting or ERP systems for purchasing, inventory and invoicing, helping teams coordinate maintenance and financial workflows.
Enhancements to MEX strengthen TMA Systems’ multi-solution maintenance portfolio with capabilities that help organizations turn maintenance data into actionable insights, plan more effectively around critical assets and infrastructure, and support safer, more reliable operations. Additional enhancements are planned for Q4 of 2026. For more information about MEX, visit www.mexmaintenance.com.
