H.B. Fuller (NYSE: FUL), the world’s largest pureplay adhesives provider, today announced Bin Dasmal General Trading Co. and Huhtamaki as recipients of its 2026 Customer Innovation Award. From reducing plastic in food packaging to improving the durability of critical infrastructure, this year’s H.B. Fuller Customer Innovation Award winners are solving some of the world’s most complex manufacturing challenges.
The annual awards recognize customers who have developed solutions delivering measurable advances in sustainability, safety, performance or operational efficiency. Winners are selected based on innovation, market impact, technical achievement and successful collaboration with H.B. Fuller teams.
“The most meaningful breakthroughs happen when great ideas meet deep technical expertise and trusted collaboration,” said Celeste Mastin, president and CEO, H.B. Fuller. “Our customers are solving some of the world’s most important challenges, from reducing material use in packaging to improving infrastructure resilience. We are proud to recognize these innovations and the partnerships that helped bring them to life.”
The innovations recognized this year span diverse industries but share a common objective: applying science, engineering and collaboration to solve real-world challenges and make products and systems more sustainable, efficient and reliable.
2026 Customer Innovation Award Winners:
- Improving infrastructure resilience: Bin Dasmal General Trading Co. was recognized for developing an innovative prefabricated HVAC insulation system that improves protection against condensation and corrosion in hot, humid environments. In collaboration with H.B. Fuller, the company integrated Foster® NeoClad™ protective vapor barrier jacketing into an offsite prefabrication process that reduces installation time, improves long-term system reliability and helps extend service life in demanding climate conditions.
- Advancing the future of sustainable packaging: Huhtamaki was recognized for ProDairy, an innovative recyclable paper-based dairy cup that significantly reduces polyethylene content (from 2PE to single poly-coating) and provides a high moisture barrier for products stored in chilled conditions. Working with H.B. Fuller, Huhtamaki leveraged a high-performance varnish to eliminate the need for an external PE layer while protecting against moisture and abrasion. The commercially scalable solution helps dairy producers reduce plastic use, improve recyclability and advance circular packaging goals without compromising performance.
“Across every market we serve, innovation increasingly depends on collaboration across the value chain,” Mastin said. “These award-winning solutions demonstrate how customers and suppliers can work together to create products that are more sustainable, more efficient and better suited to the needs of a rapidly changing world.”
The award winners will be recognized during a celebration on September 29, 2026.
