The deal adds another Rocky Mountain location to the Southern California provider’s expanding network

ORANGE COUNTY, Calif., Oct. 15, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — STA Jets today announced a definitive agreement to acquire International Jet, the Centennial, Colorado-based private aviation company that has served clients since 1979. The transaction continues the company’s push to build one of the nation’s most comprehensive private aviation service networks in the market.

Expanding on Five Decades of Private Aviation

International Jet was founded in 1979 in Long Beach, California, and relocated to Denver the following year. In 1980 it became the first charter Learjet operator at Centennial Airport, and it is now the longest-tenured company at that location. Over more than four decades, the company has grown from cargo and specialty flying into a full-service passenger charter operator.
